On the 4th of March 2023, BIE together with other Engineering bodies like ERB (Engineers Registration Board), ACEB (Association of Consulting Engineers Botswana) and the engineering community at large celebrated the World Engineering Day at Ditshupo Hall!!
This special day (March 4th) is reserved to celebrate the engineering profession and the significant contribution of Engineers towards Sustainable Development around the World! The World Engineering Day Theme for 2023 was “Engineering Innovation for a more resilient world”
It was a quite a peculiar day for Engineers to get into a moment of Sober Introspection about themselves as Engineering Professionals! – What kind of an Engineers they have you been? (Past)
– What kind of Engineer they are now? (Present)
– And What kind of Engineers they want to become in order to transform this Country, leaving a mark and a legacy behind for the next Generation? (Future)
